GLOBAL, FEDERAL AND STATE TRANSPARENCY (SUNSHINE) REPORTING
Transparency (i.e. Sunshine) laws were enacted to increase transparency and provide information about the financial relationships between drug and device companies and providers (physicians and teaching hospitals). In addition to the federal law there are state reporting requirements as well as global transparency reporting requirements in other countries around the world.

As Chief Compliance Officer of a large multi-national device manufacturer, our Principal Neil Pankau served in all user capacities as Submitter, Attester, and Officer and developed processes for ensuring accurate federal and state reporting as well as expanding the program to comply with transparency laws and other reporting requirements such as the Disclosure Code by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
